I have faith in Tesla, even though they are making losses at the moment. Based on the numbers it seems that there is an organizational problem that causes such an edgy variation in the ROE. On a 5 year chart there seems to be evidence that it is a good long term investment. Nonetheless, volatility exists and this is because it produces electrical energy powered vehicles, an R&D intensive industry. The particularly high volume of trading after 2013 added to the volatility we currently see. A good sign is making a profit for this quarter!
