Trustworthy Companies Offer Superior Investment Returns With Less Risk
Texan Hunter 7/25/2022 12:41:15 PM

Me too.  In particular, where do #BigTech companies like #Google and #Facebook fall on the trust score?  Both seem to have lost their ethical and moral compass over the years.

ZNGA Stock Forecast: Avoid Investing In Zynga, It Has More Downside Risks
Dick Kaplan 9/1/2021 12:16:00 PM

You do not consider these facts about #Zynga ($ZNGA):
1. Chartboost was purchased to go in house with over 700 million active users. This will cut expenses and work in favor of IDFA.
2. #Apple ($AAPL) and #Google ($GOOGL) have been caught with their pants down on the 30% cut on the App Store. Big win for gaming. South Korea first.
3. The Merge category has experienced competition and therefore Zynga needs to be much more aggressive with MD and MM.
4. Gram Games is paid off. No more contingency payments.
5. Zynga’s forecast was $2.8 billion and moved to 2.9$ billion after the first quarter. We are now at $2.85 billion.
6. Small Giants last contingency is in January. 4 months away.
7. Zynga said the 3rd quarter would send headwinds on IDFA and by the 4th quarter Chartboost will be in place.
8. Star Wars Hunter will be the first console game with CSR2 to follow.
9. Cash flow is strong and we just purchased in China. Short term we have a hiccup.

Long term, I think this company has huge growth.

Fortnite is Gone
Danny Straus 8/14/2020 3:37:04 PM

Yes, that is an important distinction. I'll give @[Shelly Palmer](user:4838) another example to further that argument. I used to work at on online store and we also sold items on #eBay and #Amazon to get access to their millions of customers, just as app maker sell their apps on #Apple and Google's app stores. But we charged a little more on Amazon/eBay to cover the higher fees. Customers knew they could always buy them directly at our site for a bit less.

But Amazon and Ebay never said we were forbidden to sell items for less on our own site. That would be completely unfair in my mind. And it seems like there is some collusion between Apple and Google if this is their policy.

Alphabet: Cash Generation & Moonshots
Moon Kil Woong 8/6/2020 10:01:29 PM

It certainly is a great value given its more financially stable than all the FANGS and trades at a more respectable price. The only thing it lacks is a dividend, however, it is still in growth mode. $GOOD $GOOGL

The Nasdaq Selling Has Commenced
Moon Kil Woong 7/13/2020 10:05:11 PM

Sell high PE stocks with slowing growth. Buy lower growth stocks with continuing growth. Sell #Netflix buy #Google. Sell #Tesla buy #Microsoft. Sell #REITs buy #Xilinx, etc. The trend is likely not going to be your friend. Buy real stories, do your research. $XLNX $GOOGL $NFLX $TSLA $MSFT

Why I Watch This Master Investor Like a Hawk
James Grover 10/4/2019 3:28:48 AM

#Google is listed as early investor, but so are #Alibaba, #Microsoft, and #Amazon. Not sure how much Google really owns, especially when prospectus says that we may compete with these same cos. Looks like NET has closer ties with Alibaba, so my impression is they aren't that connected with Google as much as article implies!

Google Has A Way To Grow Again

Why You Think Your Devices Are Listening To You
Susan Miller 8/6/2019 9:32:54 PM

Carol is right. Companies are getting out of control and crossing lines knowing that if they get caught, they'll only get a slap on the wrist. I just read about how when #Google's Street View mapping cars passed by people's homes, they intentionally hacked into their wifi routers and stole users' private data. This was barely in the news, which is shocking! $GOOG $GOOGL

They knowingly stole users' info, kept it for years, and now only have to pay $13 million. Outrageous!
