It has been a fantastic year for the leading benefits provider in the world, Reward Gateway. Many positive things happened in 2014, and I will give a short view in the following text about each of them.

The company for the first time reached the number of 1000 clients, doubling it for less than 2 years, which is a great achievement taking in mind that Reward Gateway was founded in 2006.

In March, the CEO of Reward Gateway, Glenn Elliott announced the acquisition of UK based web design and development company Dazines. 32 enthusiastic engineers started the mission to make Reward Gateway globally recognised employee engagement organisation.  

One of the biggest news not just at Reward Gateway, but the employee benefits industry as well is the release of the new employee engagement platform that will revolutionise the way you engage with your employees. The new product is named Smart Hub, and it’s range of interactive SmartTiles™, which can be dropped onto the SmartHub™ grid system providing an interface for displaying all our products.

With SmartHub™ you no longer need separate web pages for all your benefits. RG’s new product acts like a central hub for all your benefits, discounts, total rewards and rewards & recognition as powerful communication tool. The key benefits are:

  • Huge degrees of customisation 
  • New SmartTile™ types added regularly
  • Easily highlights all benefits, not just discounts
  • Fully responsive - A great experience on tablet and mobile, which is a key trend to follow in 2015.

Smart Hub

Along with SmartHub™, the company also announced several other products, which make the product even better and brings positive user experience. Those products are:

SmartSpending™ - he secret ingredient that brings employees back to your hub day after day. SmartSpending™ is all about saving money to employees on shopping from more than 3000 retailers with on-line and in-store discounts But bot just that. Smart Spending program combines unbeatable discount rates with the Three C’s: Content, Community and Champions. Insider Guides and Saving Tips are available to employees to help them get the very best deals and make the most out of their discount platform. Overall, SmartSpending™ is about positive user experience, and engagement.

Auto Top-up is a new system for scheduling top-ups for your favourite re-loadable cards and instant vouchers on Reward Gateway. You can now easily schedule your top-up to occur automatically on a weekly or monthly basis, on any day of your choosing! This gives our members the ability to coincide transactions with other events, (such as paydays) without even needing to visit Reward Gateway!

Top-up by text - This is a brand new feature, which allows RG users to top up their reloadable cards via an SMS message. Users (employees) can now top their card up in 10 seconds. They just need to do is send one quick text and their top-up will be processed.

The Champions Program – This brand new program consists of a number of different tools designed around encouraging engagement, while being quick and easy to implement. Even better, your can configure the product yourself. On this way employers, or HR managers will assure the platform gets the best possible usage because encourages those people who are already advocates and the biggest users of the site to promote and involve the rest of the workforce with the Reward Gateway portal.

And maybe the biggest surprise for 2014 is that the product now goes globally. Not only in the UK, US and Australia, every employee, no matter the location can make use of this beautiful engagement platform.

This was a short review of what’s happened in Reward Gateway during 2014. Can 2015 bring even more? We shall see!
