Stock Symbols On Watch For A Breakout
After the big surge higher that we had just two Wednesdays ago, the stock market really hasn't gone anywhere, in fact, the tendency has been to sell any and all rallies that come our way.
Stocks Watchlist: KKR, PENN, CVI
Payrolls coming in strong and my stocks watchlist has a few names to keep a close eye on as the market looks to rally back towards those all-time highs for the first time since....last week.
Trend Reversal Indicator: Sell Signal Confirmed
It is worth noting that there hasn't been a bearish reversal signal on the indicator since August of last year, which led to a 100-point reversal in the markets over the course a three month period.
Stocks Watchlist: MCO, OLN, CBI
Second consecutive day where the market sells off in the final 30 minutes of trading rather than blast higher into the close as has been the norm for the market for years now.
T2108 Chart Indicating Sell-Off Once Again
With the S&P 500 hitting new all-time highs day after day (minus the last five trading sessions), one would expect that T2108 indicator would be soaring right? Wrong.
DJIA Today: Healthiest Of All The Indices
Nasdaq still doesn't look so bad, Russell index does look pretty rough, the S&P 500 is giving up all of Wednesday's market rally, but the DJIA managed to hold that 10-day moving average with a three day pullback that was quite shallow in nature.
Stocks Watchlist: CIEN, DOW, BLL
We could be in for an interesting day on the stock market if the closing price action is any indication. Bulls still have control of this market on the daily charts, but the bears intraday finally showed some signs of life today.
My Watch List For All Stocks Bearish Following End Of Day Sell-Off
That was one nasty market sell-off at the close today. Plenty of people were selling stocks, myself included. The biggest concern for me right now is that only 49% of stocks are trading above their 40-day moving average.
Stock Market Today: Weak Underneath, Strong Up On Top
The T2108 continues to drop hard and did so yet again today with an 8.7% decline all the way down to 52%. We are right near all-time highs for the stock market and barely over 50% of the stocks trading over their 40-day moving average.
Stocks Watchlist: AMAT, XRAY, SLCA
Three new trade setups - one of them long and the other being short. Either way this market decides to take us, you'll have some options at your disposal. Trade what you see always, manage the risk, and let the profits take care of themselves.
Stock Watch-List: Bullish
Stocks are a little shaky to start the week, my watch list is most filled with red stocks trading lower.
Stocks Watch-List: RHT, TXN, ETFC
Futures on Sunday night opening up weak, but what the futures do and what the actual equity market does when it opens up in the morning have little bearing on each other.
Snapchat Stock Value Is More Than These Companies
Snapchat IPO date was yesterday and it came out soaring. Everyone is looking for a reason to buy and if you haven't bought (me included) you are the exception, not the rule.
Stocks Watch-List: RXN, AMKR, MSCC
The market is a little bit tipsy here and if you need to simply not trade today until you can get a better feel for this market, well, that is okay too. I don't blame you one bit.
Caterpillar Stock Price Taking A Beating: Here Is The Support Levels To Watch
CAT has held very, very strong and would look for this to be the ultimate entry level for the stock if it were to continue to drop. Right now, that entry is hovering around the $90-level.
Stocks Watchlist: Wednesday, March 1
Obviously the market liked the Trump speech from last night, and that's all fine and dandy, but for us technical traders, the action is in the charts. The list includes Dow Chemical, Salesforce and Caterpillar.
