Daily Trading Opportunities - Thursday, May 25

During the Thursday session, there are a lot of announcements coming out, but we are paying the most attention to the OPEC meeting, Initial Jobless Claims, and several mid-level European announcements.

FTSE 100

The FTSE 100 initially fell on Wednesday, but continues to find buyers underneath as we most certainly would bullish. The 7500 level of course offers quite a bit of psychological resistance, but it does look like the call buyers are willing to press the issue every time we dip to find value.

USD/CHF

The US dollar fell again initially against the Swiss franc but has turned around to form a bullish looking candle. It looks now as if the call buyers are willing to step in and perhaps lift the market in the short term. That being the case, it looks as if the call buyers are trying to find a bit of value although there is probably a certain amount of put buyers above waiting to continue the downtrend.

DAX

The German index did almost nothing during the day on Wednesday, but it looks as if it is still trying to grind higher. Those who are patient will more than likely be willing to buy calls as the longer-term trend has been so strong. A break above the 12,700 level would be very bullish.
