Third Point Adds NXP And Campbell's Soup Stakes, Exits Alphabet Class A

Third Point disclosed in an SEC filing its holdings as of June 30. Third Point's 13 new buys in the quarter included, by size of position, NXP Semiconductors (NXPI), PayPal (PYPL), Visa (V), Campbell Soup (CPB), and Deere (DE).

The firm exited 14 positions during the quarter including, by size of previous position, Alphabet Class A (GOOGL), Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Mohawk Industries (MHK), PagSeguro Digital (PAGS), and Anthem (ANTM).

Third Point increased its stake in nine holdings, including Microsoft (MSFT), Adobe Systems (ADBE), Electronic Arts (EA), Marathon Petroleum (MPC), and United Technologies (UTX). Third Point reduced its stake in nine holdings, including Worldpay (WP), Constellation Brands Class A (STZ), Facebook (FB), Lennar (LEN), and Wynn Resorts (WYNN). The firm's top holdings as of June 30, in order of size, were Baxter (BAX), NXP Semiconductors, United Technologies, PayPal, and Netflix (NFLX).
