Nike Inc. (NKE) is scheduled to report their FQ4’18 earnings Thursday after the market closes. Estimize consensus projects an EPS of $0.66,  a 10% YoY growth, while Wall Street predicted an EPS of $0.64. Estimize NKE EPS projections have been more accurate than Wall Street’s 73% of the time. Estimize anticipates a revenue of $9.451B, a 9% YoY growth, while Wall Street expects $9.393B in revenue.

Nike is widely regarded as the leader in sportswear. They have beaten Wall Street estimates for 23 straight quarters and do not look to be slowing down. The company will see a boost in sales because of the 2018 world cup in Russia; Nike sponsors 10 of the 32 teams competing. Nike also sponsors 7 of the 8 most famous athletes in the world including Kevin Durant and Lebron James, who recently faced off in the NBA finals (while wearing jerseys displaying the Nike swoosh). Nike’s performance in China was up 24% last quarter and up almost 20% in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
