Nieman Marcus Withdraws Initial Public Offering Request

Nieman Marcus Group (NMG), in a letter to the SEC, withdrew its request for an initial public offering.

"The Company has determined that it is not in its best interests to proceed with the initial public offering contemplated by the Registration Statement at this time," the retailer stated.

J.C. Penney (JCP) reported today a drop in comparable holiday sales, following disappointing results from Macy's (M) and Kohl's (KSS) earlier this week.

TM Editors' Note: Neiman Marcus last changed hands three years ago, at a price of $6B. The aforementioned IPO was announced in 2015.
