Shopping at #Walmart is a miserable experience. #Amazon excels at customer service. If they increase efficency at #WholeFoods, they can likely do less with more, while still keeping customer service a priority. $WMT, $AMZN $WFM

#Walmart acquired #Jet to compete with #Amazon. Now Amazon wants to acquire #WholeFoods to compete with Walmart. I don't think Walmart's acquisition did a think for them. Hopefully Amazon's will work out better for them $WMT $AMZN $WFM

Personally, I hope this acquisition is the end of #Walmart. Shopping there is a dreadful experience and they don't deserve to stay in business. Yes, prices are cheap but there is zero customer service, horrible wait times, etc. #Amazon could radically change all that doing what they do best. $WMT $AMZN

#Amazon's acquisition of #WholeFoods could revolutionize the industry. I don't think it will be the end of #Walmart though unless Amazon starts selling actual products in the the physical stores like Walmart does. And I don't think the Whole Foods locations are physically large enough. $AMZN $WMT $WFM

The downside is that these big stores like $WMT will go out of business unless they raise prices which help the consumer. It should help the dollar, but it will take time. When that does happen though, #Walmart will get more bang for their buck so it could even out. But it's a big change and there are likely a lot of unforeseen issues which could arise.

It is a tough time for department stores. I just don't see how they can compete with #Amazon and others like it. Not to mention, if #Trump can push through his new tax plan, it will kill stores especially, #Walmart and #Target. $AMZN $WMT $TGT

Companies know not to get on #Trump's bad side, but it will hopefully be the average American who benefits from this. And while yes, many companies were planning these expansions anyway, pressure from Trump can't hurt to ensure those jobs stay in the US. Plus a little good PR never hurt a company. $WMT $AMZN

I think you must have me confused with someone else. I've had the value listed for $WMT as the same since May 2016. Nothing has changed.
