Five of the 7 constituents released their Q1 financial reports earlier this week, contributing to a 5% decline in our portfolio for the week ending May 10. 

Verano's stock price is down 3.5% as of mid-day May 8th, 2024 but is up 13.1% YTD.

The cannabis sector dropped 18.8% in the last 3 days and it probably has further to go, based on historical data.so the question now is how much further it will drop before stabilizing. Time will tell. Stay tuned. 

The legalization of cannabis in Germany last week sparked a 66% surge in the 5 largest Canadian cannabis LP stocks last week but only a 8.5% increase in the 7 largest American cannabis MSO stocks.

Last Friday the trading volume in the 7 stocks in our American Cannabis MSO Stocks Index was 51.5% higher than the average daily trading volume. Pricewise, the Index was up almost 15%.
