The European Union vowed to reduce its dependence on Russian natural gas by two-thirds, and to import an extra 50 billion cubic meters of liquid natural gas. Even before this, the companies that ship it had already been enjoying good times.

One of the larger secular themes that is playing out now is the rising global demand for liquified natural gas to replace coal and Russian liquified natural gas to Europe. Flex LNG Ltd. is a possible solution.
