I do own $KO since I believe it has tremendous brand loyalty and staying power. Even though I think it could take a hit with the war against obesity, soda tax, etc, I don't believe the company is going face serious trouble any time soon.

$KO and $PEP will need to continue to diversify as consumers realize just how unhealthy soda is. And talk of a #SodaTax won't help their sales either.

I hear there will be a soda sales tax soon. That will hurt $KO, $PEP and the other soda companies. I wonder if it will apply to SodaStream ($SODA). Regardless, it shouldn't affect restaurants though - they charge just as much for water!
