Sensex Finishes Weak; Tata Steel Down 2.6%
Sahil Parikh 1/7/2017 10:56:02 PM

#TataSteel acquisition of Brahmani River Pellets Ltd comes after ex-chairman Rata Tata again taking over the Tata empire. This move symbolizes the chairman's agenda to aggressively capture the steel market in times of recession or stagnation. In future, we would see multiple similar acquisitions in the market where large firms taking advantage of Chinese stagnation of steel market to increase their foothold on the domestic markets or in simple words expand market share and control the cost that would make them more competitive.

The same thing with Pharmaceutical companies such as #SunPharma. Sun Pharma is doing its part of Indian companies taking on foreign acquisitions and having a foothold in American market and gain insight into American markets. Similar Indian companies have taken over such acquisitions in different sectors such as Adani, Tata, Mahindra, etc. The long-term goal is to make Indian market open to foreign investment and open the doors for Indian companies in International markets that would make BSE and NSE interconnected with International markets. $TTM
