The Real Minimum Wage Is Always Zero No Matter What Politicians Say

Good points.  Were the drivers happy with the existing setup?  If so (and I assume they were since there were no shortage of drivers), i don't see why politicians had to interefere.  And if #Uber and #Lyft leave the market, then everyone loses.

Uber And Lyft Are Doomed
My Stock Tips 6/9/2019 7:29:45 PM

Excellent point, but I believe the difference there is that #Amazon has reinvested it's profits to become a market leader in an ever expanding array of products and services. #Uber and #Lyft just lose money in an endless competition.

Lyft, Uber IPOs Indicative That This Bull Is About To Be Slaughtered

Shame #Uber and #Lyft don't simply merge. That would solve a lot of the problems.

Ebay Sues Amazon Claiming Illegal And Unethical Activity
Danny Straus 10/18/2018 4:33:29 PM

This doesn't surprise me in the least. Remember when #Uber tried to kill #Lyft by having a team constantly order and then cancel cars to annoy its drivers and passengers (when no cars would be available). Unfortunately, just because a big company is involved, doesn't mean ethical practices are. In fact I'd suspect that most companies GOT big by cheating. Just watch the tv show #Billions.

Socially responsible riders should use #Lyft or another ride service over #Uber. Together we can make Uber's path even bumpier than it is already!

Billion Dollar Unicorns: Careem Is The Latest Middle East Unicorn

This looks like a tough market for #Careem, despite its success, #Uber, #Lyft and others have global presence with proven business models to reduce costs. In fact, as a customer of Uber and Lyft;, Lyft was actually cheaper. Gaining market share involves the uncertainty of consumers switching over.
