Four years ago we were in a state of panic. Americans were hoarding toilet paper. The economy was collapsing. Hospitals were running out of ventilators and PPE.
Yes, we are unequivocally better off than we were four years ago. http://dlvr.it/T4GXZ5

That’s today. Not 5 years from now. Today. Instead, the federal minimum wage has been stuck at $7.25 since it was last raised on July 24, 2009. http://dlvr.it/T4GQDm

    Friends,

At a rally this past weekend outside the Dayton International Airport in Vandalia, Ohio, Trump warned that “if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a blood bath … for the country.”

He also warned that if he didn’t win, “I don’t think you’re going to have another election, or certainly not an election that’s meaningful.”

In the rest of the speech he repeated his false claims that the 2020 election was stolen, which have been utterly discredited.

He praised the people serving sentences in connection with the January 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol — calling them “hostages” and “unbelievable patriots,” commending their spirit, and promising to help them if elected in November.

He cast migrants as threats to American citizens — claiming without evidence that other countries were emptying their prisons of “young people” and sending them across the border. “I don’t know if you call them ‘people,’ in some cases,” he said. “They’re not people, in my opinion.” He later referred to them as “animals.”

Trump is clearly desperate. He knows that his future freedom and his fortune both depend on winning in November. He has no qualms about turning Americans against Americans to achieve this goal. Apparently he is even willing to fuel violence, a second civil war.

On Friday, Trump’s own former vice president, Mike Pence, showed enough integrity to refuse to endorse Trump. If other current and former Republican officials had an ounce of integrity, they would do the same. Trump’s disgraceful performance this weekend should be a wake-up call, if they still need one.

The rest of us must do everything in our power to ensure that this monster never again comes close to the Oval Office.

Trump’s threat of a “bloodbath” if he loses shows he’s desperate. His future freedom and fortune depend on winning. He will pit us against each other to achieve this. It’s all about him. It always has been. http://dlvr.it/T4FfB4

There are many clear and obvious contrasts between Trump and Biden. But there’s one in particular that’s going to be very important this November. Some thoughts… http://dlvr.it/T4FQth

The outcome of 2024 will set the course for the US and the world for decades – and the fight is winnable. Here’s why I’m nauseously optimistic. http://dlvr.it/T4CpBh

Trickle down economics is a hoax. The real way to grow the economy is to invest in workers and expand the middle class. http://dlvr.it/T4Cdvr
