Donald Trump has made some mistakes in his first six months as President.
But if he continues to mishandle the North Korea situation… the consequences could be 10,000x more devastating than any of his previous missteps.
That’s the concern of former Director of the White House National Security Council R.P. Eddy.
Eddy, who also served as a Senior U.S. Diplomat, notes that North Korea having nuclear weapons is “a bad thing” for America… “but it’s not the worst.”
You probably know that North Korea recently staged a successful nuclear launch that shocked many experts. And it is still working to develop technology that could reliably deliver a nuke to the U.S. mainland.
That, says Eddy, simply cannot be allowed to happen.
He calls the ability to nuke California, Hawaii, Tokyo, or Seoul “unconscionable.” “No US President”, he says, “can allow that to continue."
Eddy recently sat down with macro analysts at Real Vision TV to explain why the North Korea situation is much riskier than many believe.
While many assume North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has built nuclear weapons as a deterrent against U.S. aggression, Eddy isn’t so sure. There’s strong evidence that Jong Un actually wants to conquer South Korea… a possibility that would greatly increase the odds of a nuclear war.
