Happy Friday everyone!
I’ve been reading all kinds of things.
I’ve read a couple books this week, and over 20 book summaries on Blinkist – I still love that site.
Here’s what I have for you this week…
I’ve been working on updating many things around here. Because of that, I’ve had some guest author pick up the slack, and they did a great job. I published a couple awesome guest posts this week:
- 20 Tips to Get Your Finances in Order in Your 20s
- 4 Ways to Be More Productive (For the Next 20 Minutes)
I’m not sure what the deal was with all the “20s” is the articles this week, but anyways…here’s what I’ve found around the web:
How Not to Die Hungry: Turn Your 401(k) Into a Pension (Bloomberg) – Just saving money for retirement isn’t enough. Ben explains how you have to have enough money, and then how you can turn you 401(k) into a pension that pays.
52 Lies You Must Ignore to Become Filthy Rich (LifeHack) – This is one of those “don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t do something” kind of articles, and I love it.
The Exponential Benefits of Minimalism (Break the Twitch) – Anthony’s story of how minimalism provided things he never could have imagined.
How $5,000 Can Turn Into $1,000,000 for Retirement (Young Adult Money) – A great example of compound interestat work.
What Contribution Taught Me About Connection (And Why I refuse to Love Faith in Humanity) (Live Your Legend) – A great story about giving. Giving isn’t all about money.
This is How to Find Happiness: 6 Proven Secrets From Research (Barking Up the Wrong Tree) – This article caught my attention, because I read it just a couple days after I published my recent article on happiness. It’s a great read.
