The stock price range continues to narrow across the board

This market can't move. A Little faith can be put into a gap up, because with, stock's narrowing price range, you know that the market has to fade every opening move whether it be to the upside or downside. 

In the midst of all of this, you have the S&P 500 that continues to remain stuck in a narrowing triangle that will ultimately result in a breakout or breakdown - and I expect it to happen any day now. 

Continue to watch the 50-day moving average. Bulls desperately need to bounce this thing, or it is likely to break. The longer that it sits on it, the more likely the bears will eventually gather together enough selling power to break it. 

Oil continues to rally hard, and industrials are showing some signs of life. But the banks and defense - you'd think they'd be doing better, but they are not. Tech meanwhile, has been out to lunch. Not much going on there. But then again, there isn't much going on with the stock market either.
