The average large cap score is 57.82, which is below the four week average score of 58.52. The average large cap stock in our universe is trading -16.54% below its 52 week high, -2.57% below its 200 dma, has 4.22 days to cover held short, and is expected to grow its EPS by 13.46% next year.

Healthcare is the best scoring large cap sector. Financials, consumer goods, and services can also be overweight. Industrials score in line. Technology (except software), utilities, and basics score below average.

The best industry is cigarettes (RAI, MO, PM). This isn't too surprising given that the industry is typically a leader during the rough-and-tumble summer swoon. Technical & system software (SNPS, INFY, ANSS) and business software (FISV, JKHY) are strong scoring with the industry often moving up into the end of the Gov't's fiscal year. P&C insurers, S&Ls (NYCB), and REITs (PSA, AVB, HCP, HCN, DLR, CPT) are best across financials. In healthcare, focus on medical instruments (XRAY, SYK, BCR, BAX, COO) and biotech (CELG, SGEN, BMRN, REGN, GILD). Aerospace/defense (TDG, GD, NOC, LMT) is the only above average scoring basket in industrials. Business services, grocers (KR, WFM), and restaurants (DRI, MCD, CMG) offer upside across services. The top technology industries are technical & system software, business software, and diversified communication systems (AMT, CCI). Diversified utilities (ED, SCG) can also be bought.
