Gartman Speaks
I never bothered watching or listening to clips of this guy (and I say “clips” because God knows I’d never turn on CNBC………ever) and what struck me is that while he tries to sound like the apotheosis of erudition, he stumbles all over himself grammatically (“I’ll leave that to guys smarter than I”, for example). On camera, he also has a habit of holding his hands in a “praying” type manner (fingertip to fingertip) which, again, I assume is meant to conjure up someone deeply thoughtful.
All I can tell you is this: last night I set up a Google News Alert so email me any time the guy says anything about anything. He’s solid gold.
