Tariffing ur agriculture sector makes sense because the US certainly engages in support to our agriculture sector. The only issue is most countries should applaud it because it keeps people fed all over the globe and keeps food prices lower. Of course, the same could be said about Asia's electronics and Europe's just about everything they make. This is why global trade works.

Hack up global trade and what we get is inefficiency. This leads to inflation all over the globe right along with lower growth. Already the effects of just talking about agriculture tariffs will have a bad effect on our US agriculture market. The damage is being done just by speaking about it. Republicans need to take action to prevent a Republican President from creating a crisis by implementing the worse trade ideas from the socialist and democratic side of the isle. Go figure. The Republicans stand to lose a lot of seats by their President embracing anti-Republican trade ideas.
