Why Adobe Is Set To Post Positive Earnings For The 15th Straight Quarter

Adobe Systems Inc. (ADBE) will release their FQ2 ‘18 earnings report after the close on Thursday. Estimize consensus predicts an EPS of $1.59, 5 cents higher than Wall Street’s prediction. This would be a 56% YoY growth. Estimize predictions about ADBE EPS have beaten Wall Street’s 81% of the time. We anticipate a 22% YoY revenue growth and a revenue of 2.167B, slightly higher than Wall Street’s prediction of 2.15B. Estimize has beaten Wall Street in ADBE revenue estimates 69% of the time.

Adobe makes many editing programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere. CFO Mark Garrett said that Adobe expects the new tax law to greatly benefit them and result in an increased EPS. The company recently bought Magento, an e-commerce firm, for 1.68 billion. Adobe has equaled or beaten earnings estimates for the past 14 quarters.
