Dividend Income Update March, 2017

Each month I will publish my dividend income. I will mainly do this for staying self motivated and to give you the readers the chance to follow my journey from the beginning on. The dividend income in the first couple of years will be on a very low level but investing in dividend stocks is all about the long term. I am very sure that in 5 years from now I will get my first rewards for the patience and focus on my goals.

Again time for another dividend income update. In January and February the dividend income was not so big. But finally March was kind of another breakthrough. In total I received 128.60 EUR in dividends, that means a new record for me.

My total dividend income in March was 128.60 EUR that is an increase of 127.4% compared to March 2016. That increase does come from changes in the exchange rate, dividend increases and six new companies on the dividend income list compared to the last year.

Conclusion

My average monthly dividend income in 2016 was at  58.86 EUR and currently itisat 72.97 EUR.

My forward full year dividend income is now at  1 268.71 EUR that means I have now an average of 105.73 EUR per month. So I reached my first goal to cross the average monthly dividend income of 100 EUR. To finally cross that number feels amazing as it is another step towards financial freedom. My goal until the end of the year is to have a total dividend income of 1 400 EUR.

I am already curious how long it does take to cross the 200 EUR average dividend income per month. According to my goals this should happen in 2018.
