Amphenol Beats On Q4 Earnings, 2017 Guidance Bullish

Amphenol Corporation (APH - Free Report) designs and manufactures connectors and interconnecting systems that are used to transmit electrical and optical signals for a wide range of sophisticated electronic applications. Revenue: Quarterly revenues beat estimates. APH recorded revenues of $1,651.1 million, well ahead of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1,609 million. 

Key Stats to Note: APH is likely to perform well in the dynamic electronics marketplace due to its leading technology, higher demand across almost all the end markets, lean cost structure, diligent execution of operational plans and an experienced management team. APH has offered bullish guidance for full year 2017. The company expects sales in the range of $6.340–$6.500 billion, representing a year-over-year increase of 1–3%, and EPS in the range of $2.84–$2.92, an increase of 9–12% over 2016 GAAP EPS.

Stock Price: With strong quarterly results and bullish outlook, shares prices were up in pre-market trading at the time of writing.
