Recent Investment November 2017

It has been a while since my last investment but as I said a couple of days ago I will do one more investment in 2017. I purchased 45 units of the following ETF iShares Dow Jones Asia Pacific Select Dividend 30 UCITS.

The ETF shows an index composed of 30 stocks with leading dividend yields selected from companies in the Asia and especially in Australia. Payouts are four times a year (March, June, September and December) and the current yield is at 5.24%, based on last years total payout of 1.55 EUR.

I had this ETF already a long time on my watch list as it covers a market in which it is very expensive to invest in and I can improve my worldwide diversification through it as well.

Just to name a few the following companies are listed in this ETF:

  • Westpac Banking
  • Australia and New Zealand Banking
  • Sky Network Television
  • Starhub Ltd.

After all, I bought 45 Units at a price of 29.82 EUR, this makes it a yield of 5.24%. This will add 69.91 EUR to my annual dividend income, considering the last year payout of 1.55 EUR.

In the end, I have to say that ETF’s area very good addition to your dividend portfolio, and I will definitely invest more in ETF’s in the future.
