Recent Investment December 2017

Hey guys, as I said in my recent sells post I was able to put some fresh capital into the market. All in all I made 3 investments, two in ETFs and one in AT&T.

iShares Dow Jones Asia Pacific Select Dividend 30 UCITS.

The ETF shows an index composed of 30 stocks with leading dividend yields selected from companies in the Asia and especially in Australia. Pay outs are fourtimes a year (March, June, September and December) and the current yield is at 5.39%, based on last years total payout of 1.63 EUR.

I had this ETF already a long time on my watch list as it covers a market in which it is very expensive to invest in and I can improve my worldwide diversification through it as well.

Just to name a few the following companies are listed in this ETF:

  • Westpac Banking
  • Australia and New Zealand Banking
  • Sky Network Television
  • Starhub Ltd.

After all I bought 65 Units at a price of 29.82 EUR, this makes it a yield of 5.39%. This will add 105.95 EUR to my annual dividend income, considering the last year pay out of 1.63 EUR.

iShares STOXX Global Select Dividend 100 UCITS ETF (DE)

The ETF shows an index composed of dividend stocks with leading dividend yields selected from companies all around the world. Pay outs are fourtimes a year (January, April, July and October) and the current yield is at 4.82%, based on last years total payout of 1.32 EUR.

Just to name a few the following companies are listed in this ETF:

  • Easyjet PLC
  • Royal Dutch Sell
  • Fortum
  • Li & Fung ltd

After all I bought 72 Units at a price of 27.02 EUR, this makes it a yield of 4.82%. This will add 94.86 EUR to my annual dividend income, considering the last year pay out of 1.32 EUR.

AT&T

Last but not least I increased my position of AT&T, I took finally advantage of the recent price dip.

After all I bought 57 shares at a price of 35.51 USD, this makes it a yield of 5.52%. This will add 103.88 USD to my annual dividend income, considering the current yearly dividend of 1.96 USD. I do now have 100 shares of AT&T in my portfolio.
