Weekly Perspective And January 2017 Newsletter

David Morgan fires off an opening salvo, in order to “blast away” what might obscure our subscribers’ ability to understand the big picture and how it will influence successful investing going forward. He takes a deep dive into the 10-year forecast of the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), weaving into it the course the Trump presidency may take. David’s perspective on its assumptions quickly demonstrates why he has chosen this approach, saying “This effort is to put our emphasis on investing in the resource sector into a perspective that should help you to maintain a reasonable amount of conviction as to why owning precious metals and resource stocks is an absolute, going forward.” Plan on finding his analysis, conclusions and the benefits for you to be absolutely compelling.

Next up, Senior Equity Analyst, Chris Marchese provides a comprehensive look at what our picks from the Asset Allocation Table did in 2016 – and where they may be headed in 2017. There were surprises, both on the upside and the downside. See why you may not want to head onto the marketplace battlefield without already holding a goodly amount of these wealth-protectors and generators for yourself.

David Morgan offers a reassuring take on the outlook for metals and miners in the New Year, notwithstanding several calls from well-known metals’ perma-bears who warn of vastly lower prices ahead. You get to choose whether to align yourself with the proven probability track-record of The Morgan Report, or stay “all-out” with cash, if and when the metals and miners decide to make their move in the opposite direction.

We have a special double-treat for TMR subscribers this month. First we present a guest editorial titled “Silver: Art You Can Spend” – Prepare for a perspective “game-changer” view on this one! Second, hear from the founder of the ETF that “was created to bring silver exploration and mining exposure of small cap companies to institutional and retail investors alike.” Even with the recent correction, it still closed up in double digits on the year. Can you guess the name/ticker symbol for this one?

Chris Marchese continues with a very deep analysis of a special gold stock, the 2016 acquisitions of which “has propelled it from a large junior producer/small mid-tier producer into a premier mid-tier producer.” After reading the analysis, you may feel compelled to pick up some shares.

For 2017 – starting with this issue, we are adding a new sub-category to the Asset Allocation Tables, tentatively called “Development Companies” – along with our first choice for this category.

In place of our usual Letters this month, Editor David Morgan offers his Final Thoughts, plus mention of the three speculative situations we have been following – any one – or more of which could see their fortunes “break out” in 2017.
